Hykalemia Insights is a medical education website about recurrent hyperkalemia and its challenges in treating this chronic condition. The project involved art directing the photoshoot for the revolving door animation, symbolizing recurrence, which was later incorporated into the website.

The revolving door animation symbolizes the stresses of recurrent hyperkalemia, while the changing of clothes after each revolution represents the passage of time.

In order to create the animation, the models were recorded walking in a circle, pushing a handle, in front of a green screen. Then this footage was superimposed on an animated 3D rendering of the revolving doors.

The design of the website needed to bring the revolving door campaign to life with subtle metallic visual touches of the doors, while subtly utilizing the blue and orange brand colors. The clean and simple aesthetic allows the user to be immersed in the hyperkalemia story.
